A Holiday Concert presented by the Tucson Chapter of the BYU Alumni Association will feature pianist Marvin Goldstein and vocalist Vanessa Joy, offering a unique combination of styles and talents.
Marvin Goldstein began musical training at age 9, and by 18 was awarded a music scholarship to Tel Aviv University School of Music. Goldstein was Jewish before he joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the 1980s. Vanessa Joy is a multiple award-winning vocalist as well as an accomplished actress. Her voice combines influences of Broadway, opera, Celtic music, pop and ballads. On Friday, Nov 22 at 7:30 pm, the BYU Alumni Tucson Chapter invites everyone to the Holiday Concert. The performance will be at the ASDB Berger Performing Arts Center, 1200 W Speedway Blvd. Tickets can be purchased online through Thursday, November 21, at alumni.byu.edu/tucson. General Admission is $15 per person.For an additional $5 per person, patrons can attend a special backstage pre-party with the performers. At the door, tickets are $20 per person.
