Usher in the Christmas holiday season by viewing over 500 unique and creative nativity sets from around the world on display to the public at the 2nd Tri-Community Creche Show in San Manuel. These sets from local families in the San Manuel, Oracle, and Mammoth areas range from life-size to miniature, ornate to simple, professional to homemade, in different media, and of different ethnic themes. Visitors will come away uplifted and inspired by the serene spirit provided by the message represented by these nativities.
The San Manuel Creche Show is located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 101 North Giffen Avenue.
Viewing times are:
Thursday, Dec. 5 from 10am-6pm
Friday, Dec. 6 from 9am-7pm
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9am-7pm
Sunday, Dec. 8 from 2pm-5pm
Additionally, on Saturday, Dec. 7, 11:40-5pm Cowboy Poet, John Richins, will provide special entertainment. On Sunday, December 8th, 5:00-5:30 PM, local talent from several congregations will perform an inspirational musical program, including a special rendition of the carol “Silent Night” in German (Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht). This performance will be followed by a special televised broadcast Christmas Devotional at 6:00-7:00pm featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Light refreshments will be served.
